Introductions to The Secret of Divine
Civilization Course
(1)
From Mandla Mkhize:
This message serves as an
acknowledgement of receipt and to introduce myself.
The reason for me taking this course
is that sometimes I do not make enough time to study our scriptures in depth.
This is for me a once in a lifetime crucial opportunity to take and make use
of.
My expectations out of this course is
that I will get to understand clearly the essence of Abdu’l-Bahá’s message to
the world with regard to Divine civilization, which will then enable me to pass
it on to others with ease.
At present I am very much occupied
with translating the writings and other materials from various Bahá'í
Institutions and I don’t see myself having to retire soon from this time
consuming and demanding work of the Faith.
I am looking forward to having a
wonderful experience during the study period and to get more potential
translators in KZN Province.
Greetings
Mandla
From Aazam Binazir
Alla'u'Abha dear
friends. My name is Aazam. I live in Mafikeng. Very keen to study this
book with you. I enjoyed going through
the 2 previous online courses. Seems
like it is becoming a good spring habit every year. I hope to be able to achieve through reading, understanding and
producing a worthwhile result. With
warmest love to the organizers
and the participants.
Thanking you,
Aazam

Sateanand Naikho
Dear
Bahá’í Friend,
Thank you
very much for your welcome letter to the on-line course.
I am
Sateanand Naikho from Nouvelle France, Mauritius. I am aged 55 years and I
joined the faith in 1971. I have been serving successively as member of the
National Youth Committee, National Teaching Committee, National Literature
Committee and member of the Institute Training Board. I am presently working at
the Bahá’í National Centre as finance officer.
I have
studied only up to form 5 at a high school and have a very elementary knowledge
of computer. My friend Mr Sharma Gopaul
who had completed the course on Century
of Light and has now joined this present course has encouraged me. We have been trying for some years now to
set up an association of Bahá’í studies in Mauritius but the response has not
been so positive.
As a
member of the National Literature Committee, I know that there are only few
Bahá’í youth and young adults in Mauritius who read Bahá’í literature, even
less those who study the Sacred Writings outside the main sequence of Ruhi
Courses.
I have
joined this course, despite my handicap with computer operation to get a
first-hand experience in distance leaning and to encourage those more gifted
than me, to join. Hopefully, with my friends, Sharma Gopaul and spouse, we
shall be able to encourage and help a number of youth and young adults to
become knowledgeable and articulate teachers and administrators of the Bahá’í
Faith.
With
loving Bahá’í greetings
S. Naikho
Allaha'u'abha,
I am Susan live in Suisse. I am sure with
group distance study through reading and exchanging views with friends, I will
have a better understanding and its
application to our daily life.
I must admit that time is my great enemy and
there are other things that I must
learn as well e.g, French, Baha'i writings, being an old mother as well
as young mother of 5 . I have to make sure to have enough time for all.
Hope to hear from you all.
Warm regards,
Susan
Allah'u'abha Friends,
I am Wai Tow from Gaborone, Botswana. This is my first time joining a formal
distance study group. I am a mother of
five children (age 3-15), have been staying at home for many years. My aim of joining this study group is to
motivate myself to study a Baha'i book thoroughly and use modern technology. My daughters are helping with the computer.
With loving Baha'i Greetings,
Wai Tow Jamali
