The site where Bahá'u'lláh had a tent pitched and stayed during his second visit to Haifa and Mt. Carmel. It was near this spot where He revealed the Lawh-i-Karmil ( Tablet of Carmel) in 1891, eluding to the establishment of the World Center of the Bahá'i Faith. Later, Shoghi Effendi reiterated this by stating that the Lawh-i-Karmil (Tablet of Carmel) was the charter for the founding of the center of the Baha'i Faith on the Holy Mountain. |
