Bahá'í Holy Days are a joyous time of feasting, fellowship and praising of God. Family and friends of Bahá'ís, as well as seekers of the truth are all welcome to share in the food, spiritual readings, music and presentations.
Mae Diwrnodau Sanctaidd Bahá’í yn amseroedd llawen o wledda, cymrydoriaeth a chanmol Duw. Mae aelodau teuluol a ffrindiau Bahá’ís, yng ngyd a chwilwyr y gwir y gyd yn cael croeso i rannu bwyd, darlleniadau ysbrydol, cerddoriaeth a cyflwyniadau.
A fireside is a presentation on the Bahá’í Faith, usually in a person’s home and followed by a question and answer period. Our community members lovingly open their homes to invite inquirers to learn about the Bahá’í Faith, and ask any question that’s on their mind.
Aelwyd yw cyflwyniad o’r Ffudd Bahá’í, fel arfer mewn ty person ac wedi’i ddilyn gan gyfnod o gwestiynau ag atebion. Mae aelodau ein cymuned yn agor eu gartrefi’n gariadus i wahodd ymholiadau er mwyn dysgu am y Ffudd Bahá’í, a gofyn unrhyw gwestiwn sydd ar eu meddwl.
Junior youth groups (12-14 years old) study and discuss the themes of the Junior Youth training sequence with an animator (facilitator). They also engage in artistic and extracurricular activities and small service initiatives. These Junior Youth groups help the youth: Foster spiritual identity, create a moral structure for their lives and empower them to serve humanity.
Mae grwpiau ieuenctid iau (12-14 flwydd oed) yn astudio a thrafod y themau o’r ddilyniant hyfforddiant Ieuenctid Iau gyda arweinydd. Maent hefyd yn ymrwymo mewn gweiddgareddau ychwanegol a chywrain a menterion bach gwasanaethol. Mae’r grwpiau Ieuenctid Iau yma’n helpu y ieuenctid: meithrin hunaniaeth ysbrydol, creu strwythur foesol ar gyfer eu bywydau ac yn roi pwer iddynt wasanaethu dynoliaeth.
Children classes. Children are born with an innate nobility of spirit and recognition of the spiritual, but like dreams that vanish in the morning, if they aren’t captured through conscious action, this recognition fades, often never to return. It is through the conscious effort of loving families that the spiritual, the unexplained, the wonder, can be systematically nurtured and developed, calling upon the guidance that has been given to humanity by a loving God, our Source of Being.
Dosbarthiadau plant. Mae plant yn cael eu eni gyda bonedigrwydd greddfol o enaid ag adnabyddiaeth o’r ysbrydol, ond fel breuddwydion sy’n diflanu yn y bore, os na’i ddalier trwy weithred cydwybodol, mae’r adnabyddiaeth yma’n gwywo, yn aml byth i’w ddod yn ol. Trwy ymdrech cydwybodol teuluoedd cariadus mae’r ysbrydol, yr aneglurhaol, y rhyfeddod, yn gallu cael eu magu a’u ddatblygu, yn galw ar yr arweiniaeth sydd wedi cael ei rhoi i ddynoliaeth trwy Duw cariadus, Ffynhonnell ein Bodolaeth.

The centrepiece of Bahá'í community life is the Nineteen Day Feast. Held once every 19 days, it is the local community's regular worship gathering--and more.
Open to both adults and children, the Nineteen Day Feast is the regular gathering that promotes and sustains the unity of the local Bahá'í community. Although its program is adaptable to a wide variety of cultural and social needs, the Feast always contains three elements: spiritual devotion, administrative consultation, and fellowship. As such, the Feast combines religious worship with grassroots governance and social enjoyment.
The use of the word "feast" might seem to imply that a large meal will be served. That is not necessarily the case. While food and beverages are usually served, the term itself is meant to suggest that the community should enjoy a "spiritual feast" of worship, companionship and unity. Bahá'u'lláh stressed the importance of gathering every nineteen days, "to bind your hearts together," even if nothing more than water is served.
During the devotional program, selections from the Bahá'í writings, and often the scriptures from other religions, are read aloud. A general discussion follows, allowing every member a voice in community affairs and making the Feast an "arena of democracy at the very root of society." The Feast ends with a period for socializing.
Canolbwynt bywyd cymunedol Bahá’í yw y Wledd Undeg Naw Diwrnod. Wedi’i gynnal pob 19 diwrnod, y Wledd yw addoliad cyson y gymuned leol a mwy. Ar agor i blant ag oedolion, y Wledd Undeg Naw Diwrnod yw y casgliad cyson sy’n hybu a chynnal undod y gymuned Bahá’í leol. Er fod ei raglen yn rhywbeth a ellir ei gymhwyso i amrywiaeth o anghenion diwylliannol a chymdeithasol, mae’r Wledd wastad yn cynnwys tair elfen: defosiynol ysbrydol, ymgynghoriad gweinyddol, a chymorodoriaeth. Fel hyn, mae’r Wledd yn cyfuno addoliad grefyddol gyda llywodraethi llais y bobl a mwynhad cymdeithasol.
Efallai fod y defnydd o’r air “gwledd” yn awgrymu fydd pryd mawr yn cael i’w gynnal. Nid hyn yw’r achos o reidrwydd. Tra fod bwyd a diod yn cael i’w gynnal fel arfer, mae’r derm ei hun i fod i awgrymu dylai’r gymuned mwynhau “gwledd ysbrydol” o addoli, cyfeillgarwch ag undod. Pwysleisiodd Bahá’u’lláh pwysigrwydd cynulliad pob undeg naw diwrnod, “i rhwymo eich calonau efo’i gilydd”, hyd yn oed os na fydd dim ond dwr yn cael i’w chynnig.
Devotional provide a relaxing environment created with flowers, candles, and soft furnishings, a programme of words and music and, above all, a special atmosphere where people can reflect and relax. The Devotional is described as "an oasis of calm and well-being for the body, mind, and soul" and is a place where guests can enjoy a few tranquil moments in a specially prepared setting.
Mae defosiynolau yn cynnal amygylchedd ymlaciol wedi’i greu gyda blodau, canhwyllau, a dodrefn meddal, rhaglen o eiriau a cherddoriath ag, yn fwy na phopeth, awyrgylch arbennig lle allai pobl adlewyrchu ag ymlacio. Mae defosiynol yn cael ei ddisgrifio fel “gwerddon o dawelwch a lles ar gyfer y corff, meddwl ag enaid” ac yn fan lle allai gwesteuon mwynhau ychydig o momentau mewn osodiad paratoiadol arbennig.
