Haringey is one of the North London boroughs (UK) and some of the Bahá'ís live near Alexandra Palace, a well known exhibition centre and some others near the resting place of Shoghi Effendi, the Guardian of the BAHÁ'Í Faith.
There has been a Spiritual Assembly in Haringey for over thirty four years and Bahá'ís in the area even longer. At the present time (July '99) we have Baha'is residing in Bounds Green, Hornsey, Muswell Hill, Stroud Green, Tottenham, Turnpike Lane and Wood Green. There have been Bahá'ís in the United Kingdom for a hundred years and Bahá'u'lláh praised and revealed a prayer for Queen Victoria.
The Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of Haringey is both a registered company and a registered charity.

Our Membership includes an oncologist, a general practitioner,a quantity surveyor,a maths teacher, a civil servant, a nursing sister, computer specialists, an acupuncturist, a bank official, a trainee dentist and a care assistant. We are keen to attract people to join us in developing the skills to apply the healing remedy of Bahá'u'lláh's teachings throughout Haringey.
If you live in Haringey, drop us a line so we can invite you to meet with us. If you live outside of Haringey, complete this form and you will be put in contact with your nearest Bahá'ís.
