A warm welcome to the Bahá'í Faith in Manchester
The Bahá'í Faith is an independent world religion. It has millions of followers from many different backgrounds across the globe. The Founder of the Bahá'í Faith is Bahá'u'lláh (1817-1892). His name means the Glory of God.

Bahá'u'lláh's teachings embrace all the Founders of the world's religions, including Abraham, Moses, Buddha, Zoroaster, Christ and Muhammad. He teaches they all come from one source and have brought the same spiritual principles of love, fellowship and peace. The Bahá'í scriptures say there is only one God and that religion evolves through progressive stages to aid humanity's spiritual growth.

Bahá'ís worldwide are working peacefully to achieve spiritual and practical unity for the whole, beautifully diverse human family.

Our local community began in the 1900s. Our Bahá'í Centre in Fallowfield opened in 1962. Please note that our website gives only a brief introduction to the Bahá'í Faith. For more information please visit bahai.org.
