Our local history 1910-1920
'Ábdu'l-Bahá visited the UK in 1911, en route to North America and Canada.

Miss Sarah Ann Ridgway met with him in London. He also passed through Liverpool port on his return voyage in 1912. A number of Bahá'ís from Greater Manchester went to greet him, in 1912, including Miss Ridgway.

Greater Manchester's growing Bahá'í community often wrote to 'Ábdu'l-Bahá. His replies were complied and later published. Copies are now part of our local archives.
