"It is not for him to pride himself who loveth his own country, but rather for him who loveth the whole world. The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens."
~Bahá'u'lláh

Welcome!

Hello and thank you for visiting the Mountain View Bahá'í community website. Here you will find information about our Faith, who we are, our regular activities, and how to get in touch with us.

Bahá'ís believe in the unity of God, of religion, and of mankind. We believe that God progressively reveals His will to humanity in successive stages by Messengers of God - Moses, Buddha, Krishna, Jesus, Muhammad, Zoroaster - each sent by God according to the spiritual development and needs of civilization. In the mid-nineteenth century, around the time of the invention of the telegraph, when all the people of the world were beginning to communicate and interact with each other, Bahá'u'lláh, the founder of the Bahá'í Faith, brought a message of love and unity for all peoples. America has a great spiritual destiny

We meet regularly to celebrate Bahá'í Feasts and Holy Days. We also have devotional meetings, children's classes, and a variety of study classes on spiritual topics. Feel free to contact us by e-mail at mv@bci.org or by phone at 650-966-1921.

We invite you to learn more about our Faith - its perspective of the past, its understanding of the present, and its vision of the future. We look forward to hearing from you and hope you will stop by sometime soon.
