Our summer school provides on-site accommodations in cabins and in a lodge at the Killdevil Camp. Meals and snacks are included in the price of accommodations.

The camp also includes a swimming pool. Children and adults can swim between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. every day, and there is a qualified lifeguard on hand. The camp also offers canoe excursions when qualified supervisors are available.

Killdevil is located near some of the most stunning mountain hiking trails in the world. Also, if you prefer not to stay on site, there are campgrounds nearby. National Park camping facilities are available at Lomond Camp Ground, 10 minutes walk from Killdevil Lodge

Important Notices

• The staff cannot cook separately for special dietary needs. Please let us know ASAP if you are vegetarian, diabetic or have any other dietary requirements.

• The camp provides bunk-beds with mattresses. You will need to bring your own bedding or sleeping bags. Don’t forget your pillow.

• The power at the camp is run by a generator, which is turned off at midnight. We highly recommend that you bring a flashlight and a battery-operated alarm clock.
