- To provide a sensitive and thought-provoking process with which to engage couples seeking assistance in the decision to marry or those preparing for marriage, including face-to-face meetings and access to published resources.
- To assist married couples experiencing marital difficulties.
- To provide a healing environment and an atmosphere of trust in which individuals can share openly and listen respectfully. Members of the MST must at all times regard the privacy and confidence of the friends as a sacred trust.
