Vision Statement

As "our children need to be nurtured spiritually...", and as "...children are the most precioous treasure a community can possess, for in them are the promise and guarantee of hte future.", the Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of Tumwater wishes to provide the opportunity for our children to acquire the tools necessary "...to survive in a world laden with moral danger."

We envision a system of instruction with high ethical standards that feeds the spirit, the mind, and the heart in order to arm our children and youth with strong characters, healthy emotions, moral rectitiude and obedience to and love for God and their parents.

Parents and the community as a whole will be included in the learning process because the parents - and to a lesser extent, the community - are primarily responsible for the shaping of the attitudes and beliefs which guide the behavior of children and youth.
