"The Activity Generator" Strand 2c –History & Key Figures.

Memorisation – the very young will just be expected to know the names of the key figures of the Faith. Other students should know dates of Holy Days and years when significant things happened. Older students should know stories from history.

Give a talk/presentation – tell stories from Bahá’í history; younger students can have brief notes to remind them, older ones shouldn’t need this.

Play-making – make a simple Bahá’í history playlet.

Recitation with music, lights, slides etc. – or one person could read an adapted story with appropriate music, while another holds up various visual aids, e.g. names of people in story written with very large letters, drawings of events.

Make Dance or Mime – or one person could read an adapted story while others perform a mime of the actions, with symbolic dance movements if desired.

Make Music. - songs about Bahá'u'lláh and ‘Abdu’l-Bahá.

Sequencing – given a list of Bahá’í events, put them in date order.
