News

This
week's lesson is revision of many previous lessons. If you
do not want to use a whole lesson, these quizzes etc., can be inserted into some
other lessons. For instance, the
printed notes on the Messengers could be given out in one or more lessons; they
can be cut into sections. The first quiz could also be cut into sections.
The
printed notes:- These are for the children
to put in their books/files so that they have a permanent reference.
It is not only for their benefit but it will also show their parents what
they have been learning. This is especially important if the parents are not Bahá'ís
and know very little about what we tell the children. The children could take some notes home each week to prepare
for the quiz by reading through the notes, or they could be given a few minutes
before the quiz to look through.
The
quiz. This
consists of 35 questions, you can add more if you want.
It
is on web page 18 and a link to the answers is
on that page. It can be a team quiz or individual answers.
You may like to provide a prize for the winners.
The
picture quiz.
These pictures show the symbols of seven religions.
Can the children decide which is the symbol for which religion?
Afterwards, they could colour them in.
(The symbols representing the Bahá'í Faith are not official, but are
widely used. There does not seem to
be a recognised symbol for the Bábí Faith, but some people use a five pointed
star, so you could add that if you like.)
The
answers are on web page 19.
PICTURE
QUIZ.
Here
are the symbols of seven of the religions.
