COMPLETION OF THE MAPS

Where indicated, a plan of the journey of certain people can be made.

Make sure the children label clearly each map with the name of the person, and a particular colour could be used for each person.

The map may not be complete, for in certain cases the person may finish his travels in one town but not reappear in the story until a few chapters later and in a different place. However, the children will gain an insight into the intensity of travelling undertaken by the early believers. The children listen intently to the story so that they can be ready to pick out the next town mentioned.

The example given below is for the first part of Mulla Husayn's story, beginning in Karbila.

(Note: quality of maps on-line is not as good as in Word document, due to smaller file for faster downloading; even so, be prepared to wait for the maps to download.)

(Note: the next map is turned sideways in Word document, for A4 size.)
